The new alliance spells a long-term strategic partnership which will see both companies jointly promote and develop breakthrough innovations in mobile imaging technology. The first ‘vivo ZEISS co-engineered imaging system’ out of the blocks will be the vivo X60 series.

As part of the collaboration, vivo and ZEISS will establish the vivo ZEISS Imaging Lab, a joint R&D programme to innovate mobile imaging technology for vivo’s flagship smartphone devices. With vivo being one of the world’s largest smartphone producers and ZEISS being a global leader in optics and opto-electronics, the new partnership will allow both to build on each other’s strengths and advance mobile photography technology. Something which has got the office at PhotoBite rather excited!

Along with the joint R&D programme, vivo and Zeiss will launch the ‘vivo ZEISS Master Photography’ campaign to support the vivo ZEISS co-engineered imaging system and to encourage users to exercise their creativity with vivo’s flagship devices.
