At last! A camera that’s tailor-made for summer 2019 adventures has been announced by Nikon. The latest member of the Nikon COOLPIX family, the COOLPIX W150 is a waterproof, shockproof, freezeproof, and dustproof compact camera.

Built to excel in all kinds of extreme environments, the new COOLPIX W150 compact camera is available in five bold colourways, including the brilliant Resort and Flowers designs. It has been produced with simplicity in mind, ensuring that anyone can shoot great holiday photographs and videos with it.
The camera’s Underwater Face Framing mode promises to deliver great shots in the water, with the ability to reach depths of [up to] 10 m. It’s shockproof [up to 1.8 m], and boasts some great tech including Nikon’s low-light CMOS sensor and NIKKOR 3x optical zoom lens.
There’s a dedicated video button, which should make it easy to switch to shooting Full HD video with stereo sound capture.
There are a range of fun features incorporated in the Nikon Coolpix W150 including in-camera photo effects that are easy to add, and an optional interactive Variety Menu for kids.
Users can add voice messages to photographs, activate playful welcome screens, animated slide shows, and more besides. Waterproof accessories like Nikon’s easy-to-spot floating strap keep the camera safe and Nikon’s SnapBridge functions make it simple to share content, or to use a mobile device to shoot remotely.
*Nikon’s SnapBridge app for iOS and Android must be installed on a compatible smart device before SnapBridge can be used with the Nikon Coolpix W150.
