Major Audio Updates in Adobe Premiere Pro

Adobe has rolled out significant audio updates in the latest beta release of Premiere Pro, aiming to enhance the editing and mixing workflow with a more intuitive approach. Here’s what’s new:

  1. Interactive Fade Handles: Easily create custom audio fades by clicking and dragging on the timeline. This feature offers precision and control over audio transitions.
  2. AI-powered Audio Category Tagging: Automatically tags audio clips with icons for dialogue, music, sound effects, or ambience, providing quick access to relevant tools in the Essential Sound panel.
  3. Redesigned FX Clip Badges: New badges simplify identifying and managing clips with added effects, and offer quick access to the Effect Control panel.
  4. Modern Waveforms and Clips: Dynamic resizing of waveforms with track height adjustments and improved clip colours for better visibility and workflow efficiency.

These updates are designed to save time and improve the overall user experience for both amateur and professional creators. Adobe Creative Cloud members can access these features in the beta version alongside the current release of Premiere Pro.
