Impossible Collaborate with Eley Kishimoto for Special Edition Film Series

They’ve done it again. Impossible, the cool kids on the analogue photography block, have produced another outstanding special edition series of instant film, with British fashion and design icons, Eley Kishimoto

Way back in the mid-1990s, Mark Eley and Wakako Kishimoto produced their first collection, featuring various eye-catching print designs. Now, almost twenty years on, Eley Kishimoto’s Flash print has grown to become a fashion and design industry icon.

Flash now manifests itself in countless variations; it can be found on cases, clothing, furniture, cycle helmets and motorbikes. It has even appeared on a windmill and a zebra crossing!

Eley Kishimoto Founder, Mark Eley told PhotoBite: “Instant photography is a media we have always loved for its spontaneity and the honesty of no post-editing that captures moments truly. We are personally very excited to have the beautiful images in our life again, better still, framed by our Flash print with the Impossible x Eley Kishimoto collaboration. We look forward to sharing the joy with the rest of the world”.

With similar blood running through their veins, both Impossible and Eley Kishimoto recognise the power of analogue techniques in a world that seems to speed to digital shortcuts. The duo have now joined forces on a special edition film collaboration, using the monochrome Flash print and offering the ideal symmetry with Impossible’s high contrast black & white formula.

‘This [limited] edition film is part of an impressive and ongoing series of collaborations with people and brands from fashion, art and music. Makers and creators who share Impossible’s analogue sensitivity: a love of quality, craftsmanship, and the tactile nature of things made to last, to be kept and treasured’
