PhotoBiteKids Challenge Number 6 – HOME

Next in our series of photo challenges for PhotoBite Kids is another slightly unusual challenge called, ‘HOME’.

In this challenge, we’d like you to think about what ‘home’ means to you and to produce a picture or a series of images that demonstrate that visually. Your pictures can be as simple as a nice picture of where you live, or they could be shots of the things that you most closely associate with, and make you think of home.

As ever, we want you to tell a story with your pictures, so think about what you want to photograph, the angles you want to capture your images from, and think about where your light is coming from, too. Whatever you choose to shoot, have fun, think carefully and experiment! As with all of our challenges, you can use any device you’d like for this challenge. Ideally a camera, but if you don’t have a camera yet, then use a smartphone or tablet instead.

Our resident photography expert, Professor Gardner, is on hand as ever to share tips, tricks and ideas to really make your pictures pop! So watch the video below to get all the inspiration you need to take your photography to the next level.

Send us your pictures using the hashtag #PhotoBiteKids – make sure you ask your older brothers or sisters, your parents or friends to send for you if need be. Also send us your ideas for future photo challenges and we’ll give shoutouts for any that we include! Good luck and get shooting!
