Two New COOLPIX Superzoom Cameras Revealed by Nikon
Nikon has unleashed two brand-new COOLPIX super-zoom cameras, the COOLPIX A1000 and the COOLPIX B600 bridge camera.
Both come loaded with a strong list of features and offer a versatile shooting solution for a broad range of situations.
COOLPIX A1000 key features
- NIKKOR 35x optical zoom lens with a focal length of 24–840mm extending to approx. 1680 mm with Dynamic Fine Zoom
- 4K/UHD 30p video recording – or Full HD at up to 60 fps
- Large EVF with high-contrast, 1160k-dot visibility
- 3″ Tilting touchscreen
- Smooth zoom control
- RAW support
The new COOLPIX A1000 camera from Nikon comes complete with a massive 35x optical zoom, an all-new electronic viewfinder, [EVF] and RAW image recording. It shoots 4K video and has a tilting touchscreen monitor that makes it easy to compose shots from interesting angles.

The new COOLPIX B600 bridge camera from Nikon hosts a 60x optical zoom along with a big monitor and a firm grip. A great all-rounder, this camera will shoot Full HD video in stereo sound and offers a range of in-camera creative modes to help with artistic touches in both photo and video modes.
