The Leica CL Compact System Camera Debuts in Classic Silver

Leica announces a new design option for the Leica CL camera in classic silver during Photokina press briefings 

Leica Camera has extended the portfolio of their APS-C system camera and has announced a classic silver version of the Leica CL compact system camera.

In alliance with the CL’s known high-resolution 24MP, APS-C format sensor, a Maestro II series processor and fast autofocus [with 49 metering points] promise the best possible picture quality from the camera.

Impressive as a stills camera, the The Leica CL also excels when shooting video too, with a video function capturing up to 4K resolution at 30 frames per second.

Pricing and availability

The new silver version of the Leica CL will be on sale from next month [Oct] and will come in at £2,250 including VAT [body only]. The price and technical specifications of both models of the CL are the same.
