Shooting Sony full-frame mirrorless cameras? Handheld? Well STC, the Taiwanese imaging manufacturer of superb filters and innovative camera accessories has announced a brand-new folding grip solution for Sony cameras, the STC Sony Fogrip, giving Sony shooters greater stability and immediate benefit with weight distribution when shooting with medium-to-large lenses.

Having seen almost two years of rigorous development, STC’s latest camera accessory has been designed for the growing number of Sony full-frame camera users. The new grip’s clever design and folding function enable the camera to sit completely flat when not in use, [i.e. folded away] and can be managed with just one hand. The entire unit has been manufactured from tough-yet-light aerospace-grade aluminium alloy, which will add just 75g to the camera when joined. Users can easily access the battery door without removing the grip and it’s also compatible with both quick-release plates and L-Brackets.
