After plenty of rumours, Sony has today announced two brand new photo products into their impressive digital imaging line-up. The new full-frame mirrorless α9 Camera promises incredible speed and versatility with the ability to shoot 20fps continuous shooting and packing a 24.2MP CMOS sensor
As well as the α9, Sony has also announced the brand-new SEL100400GM Super Telephoto E-Mount Zoom, further expanding the company’s Flagship G Master lens family.
On the face of it, this new camera appears to be a dream for pro photographers and filmmakers alike, with features such as the incredible 20fps continuous shooting, 1/32,000 second shutter speed, 693 Auto Focus points with 93% coverage of the frame, 14-bit RAW support, full-frame 4K video capture and 60 fps AF/AE calculation.
