Sigma Contemporary 17mm F4 DG DN

The full-frame SIGMA 17mm F4 DG DN | Contemporary lens is available for L-Mount and Sony E-mount mirrorless systems. This ultra-wide-angle lens offers edge-to-edge sharpness, thanks to its high-quality SLD glass elements that correct lens aberrations. With a close-focus distance of just 12cm and a magnification ratio of 1:3.6, you can create unique close-up style images with expansive backgrounds or shoot hand-held vlogs.

The lens is designed for easy customisation, allowing you to control the amount of light and depth of field using the aperture ring. It also features Direct Manual Focus [DMF] and a focus mode switch and supports switching between non-linear and linear focusing when customized using the SIGMA USB DOCK UD-11 [sold separately / for L-Mount only].

Weighing just 225g, this lens is perfect for travel and street photography. Its robust metal construction ensures durability, while the compact size makes it easy to carry around. The dust- and splash-proof mount helps to prevent contamination from dust and water, making it suitable for any weather conditions. The knurled metal lens hood, focus ring, and aperture ring provide an improved grip, ensuring greater control when you need it most.

Pair this lens with a compact full-frame mirrorless camera to create a lightweight vlogging setup, suitable for both POV shots and hand-held filming. The release of the 17mm F4 DG DN | Contemporary brings the total number of I series lenses to nine, providing a greater choice of compact focal lengths to mix and match to your preferred photographic style.
