Paterson DVD Winner: Revealed

Written and directed by Jim JarmuschPaterson has now been released on DVD and Blu-ray. StarringAdam Driver [Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Girls]and Golshifteh Farahani [About Elly]), the film tells the story of Paterson, a bus driver by day and poet by night living in the New Jersey city of the same name

He’s a poet, recording his daily observations and thoughts into a notebook. Paterson thrives on routine: he drives his bus route, he goes home for dinner with his wife Laura (Golshifteh Farahani, About Elly), he walks his dog, he visits his local bar for one beer. By contrast, Laura’s world is ever-changing, with new project and ideas striking her daily. The film quietly observes the triumphs and defeats of daily life, along with the poetry evident in its smallest details

Jim Jarmusch is among the most precious filmmakers of our time. At his best, [as he is in this film] he conjures an entire world of his own imagination. He does so with his wry and damped-down tone, his worn-in sense of design, the sparkle of his dialogue, and the precision of his documentary-rooted observations.

This, critically acclaimed film, Paterson, is one to savour and we have been lucky enough to offer a copy away. Announcing our winner as Anthony Mulryan, we will be promptly sending out his copy, for him to enjoy!
