Nikon Z 9 Firmware Update Now Available
Nikon has announced that the firmware Ver.1.10 for their flagship mirrorless camera, the Nikon Z 9 is now available for download.
The latest update for the camera is available from the Nikon download centre and also via the Snapbridge mobile app for convenience and the new Firmware Ver.1.10 update for the Z 9 promises to significantly improve the period for high-speed continuous shooting.
When shooting at 20 fps in [High-Efficiency RAW + JPEG BASIC L] recording, the period will improve from the prior [approx. 3] seconds to what Nikon claim to be the world’s longest, at approx. 15 seconds.
When shooting at 20 fps in [High-Efficiency RAW★+ JPEG BASIC L] or [JPEG FINE L+ JPEG BASIC S] recording, the high-speed continuous shooting duration is improved from the previous approx. 3 seconds to approx. 8 seconds.
In addition to this, Nikon has stated that a future firmware update will add a variety of video functions as well as further improved operability and functionality for shooting both stills and video.
