Nikon Welcomes Two New Ambassadors
Nikon’s roster of superstar photographers has grown as the brand announces two more Ambassadors, Donna Crous and Andrew Parkinson.
Nikon’s Ambassador program, which has been running since 2013, aims to inspire and educate photographers of all creative styles and abilities to achieve their creative potential. Details of the two new Ambassadors can be found below:
Donna Crous works as a pro food photographer and has been a dedicated Nikon shooter for many years. Her notoriety has been built on her photography along with her skill in recipe development and food styling. When she’s not busy shooting for clients, she is often found holding talks and workshops for Nikon, as well as running her own workshops and mentoring sessions.
Donna is now working on her very first cookery book, entitled “A Healthier Family for Life” [Little, Brown Book Group] which is due to be published next year [2021].
Secondly, Andrew Parkinson joins the Nikon Ambassador ranks as a multi-award winning wildlife photographer and is a regular National Geographic Feature Contributor. His photography is used globally by a network of leading agencies and publications including Getty, The Discovery Channel, The New York Times and RSPB Images. Andrew operates exclusively with wild animals and often speaks about the ethics of photography, conservation and animal rights. His integrity for the natural world translate clearly into every image he produces.
Nikon’s prestigious Ambassador Alumni features 15 industry-leading photographers including: Richard Peters – award-winning wildlife photographer, Helen Sloan – Game of Thrones Principle Stills Photographer, Conor McDonnell – ‘Forbes 30 under 30’ entertainment photographer, Amy Shore – automotive and lifestyle photographer and multi-award winning Fine Art photographer and author Kirsty Mitchell, to name a few.
Julian Harvie, Head of Marketing at Nikon Northern Europe, said: “We are delighted to be bringing Donna and Andy into our community of Northern European ambassadors.
