Lomography Launches Kickstarter Campaign for new Diana Instant Square Camera
Be excited! Lomography has announced the launch of a brand new Kickstarter campaign for an all-new Diana Instant Square camera
The Diana first appeared in the 1960s and much later, in 2007, Lomography brought the Diana F+ to the market. This marked a reinvention of the classic plastic lens, medium format camera, which featured loads of extra features such as interchangeable lenses and a natty flash attachment, too.
Now, the Diana camera is seen as a real classic, analogue camera packed with a lo-fi charm that appeals to film enthusiasts everywhere.
The Diana Instant Square isn’t about following the rules. It’s about challenging expectation, embracing imperfection and braving your boldest experiments.
Now, Lomography has pledged its ongoing development of square format, instant cameras, the introduction of a new Kickstarter campaign for the Diana Instant Square camera. Once in production, this new camera will have all of the original, creative features of the Diana F+ but applying the sheer brilliance of Fuji Instax Square film.
With this new addition, users will be able to adjust aperture settings and fiddle with multiple exposures, and the camera has a hot-shoe mount to attach a range of flashes.
All existing Lomography Diana F+ lenses will fit onto the Diana Instant Square, including the Fisheye, Wide, Super-Wide, Close-Up and Soft Telephoto.
