Fujifilm unveils the X-T100 Mirrorless Digital Camera into the X-Series
The new Mirrorless camera from Fujifilm features the well-established retro/luxury style with a 24.2-megapixel sensor and Fujifilm’s proprietary colour reproduction technology, precise phase detection auto-focus system, and a three-way tilting touchscreen
The X-T100 comes into the X-Series family of digital cameras as an entry model but promises high-level image quality in multiple scenes and with enhanced photo-shooting functions. The new camera features a centre-finder style that’s familiar to many from the popular X-T series and has a compact body which weighs in at just 448g with an [anodized] coated aluminium top cover.
Image quality
The combination of the 24.2-megapixel APS-C sensor and Fujifilm’s proprietary colour reproduction technology promises high image quality from the X-T100. The camera is furnished with a phase detection autofocus [AF] system and a freshly developed autofocus [AF] algorithm, which gives the user a faster, precise focusing function.
Simple and sharp selfies
In addition, the new camera has a horizontal tilting rear LCD monitor/screen, which makes it simple to shoot sharp selfies. Also, the native electronic viewfinder [EVF] offers a high magnification, and the camera has an extended battery life, giving [up to] 430 frames with each charge.
Video Capability
So far as video specs go, you can expect to see:
4K files coming from the X-T100 with continuous recording up to approximately 30 minutes.
Full HD will give continuous recording [up to] approximately 30 minutes.

Artistic shooting modes
The X-T100 has 11 variations of Fujifilm’s popular Film Simulation Modes and 17 variations of Advanced Filters, giving a neat shortcut to photographers wanting to add simple artistic flair or filmic colour tones to their images. Additionally, the various setting can be adjusted with one-step operation via the function dial, exposure compensation dial, or touch-and-flick function on rear LCD monitor.
Bluetooth connectivity
The new X-T100 houses the latest built-in Bluetooth® tech, which makes for simple transfer for sharing via mobile devices. It is the ideal companion for smartphone photographers who want to shoot and share high-quality images on the go.
Pricing and availability
The new Fujifilm X-T100 comes in three body colours; Dark Silver, Black, and Champagne Gold. It will be available for approximately £600 in late June 2018.
