In The Studio | Indie Virtual Production feat. Godox SL100BI Video Lights
Announcing a brand new PhotoBite YouTube series, called #InTheStudio! PhotoBite has collected the keys to its brand-new studio space and, as we set up, we’ve decided to roll back to our testing phases in virtual film production to show you all what we’ve been up to and what you can expect to see more of as we develop the space. This piece also gave us the perfect opportunity to test the new Godox SL100BI Video Lights to key the green screen, so watch out for our thoughts on the lights within the film.
We invite you to join Josh and Rob as they walk through a scene shot entirely within an entry-level virtual production environment. Lauded as the future of filmmaking, this video shows how you can enter the market while remaining on a relatively small budget! Also giving one of the first glimpses of our brand new studio space, Racquet Studios, which comes complete with a vast green screen environment and, in the near future, will house a large-scale, permanent LED volume!
In this piece, we’ve lit the space with loaned Godox SL100Bi video lights, hastening to add that Godox is not a sponsor of this video, nor are we affiliated with the brand beyond receiving the odd review sample on loan. They are, however, a great fit for this piece as they are relatively inexpensive and really quite powerful. They also come with some additional benefits and features in the shape of various effects and they are bi-colour. What’s not to like?
We will be demonstrating a broader range of equipment, workflows and results from within the burgeoning world of virtual production as we develop this series on our channel. Starting at the entry level, we will start to step up through various options for your viewing pleasure.
The possibilities for filmmakers within this space are truly exciting, so make sure you subscribe to our YouTube channel and hit the bell to see more. You can also find us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram @PhotoBiteUK.
