Description
HARMAN Phoenix 200 is an exciting ISO 200 colour-negative film that delivers a true analogue experience. This innovative film marks a significant milestone as the first colour film completely produced at the HARMAN technology factory in Mobberley, from emulsion to cassette.
Phoenix 200 offers a distinctive, experimental look with high-contrast images, strong, visible grain, and vibrant, punchy colours. Its unique character sets it apart from other colour films.
The film comes in a DX-coded cassette and has a box speed of ISO 200, but it can be rated between ISO 100 and 400. It performs best in consistent, good lighting conditions. You might encounter halation on brighter days or when shooting into direct light.
For optimal results, proper exposure is key. We recommend metering for the mid-tones to maintain detail in shadows and highlights, as over or underexposure can impact performance.
Part of the joy of shooting with film is the element of surprise, and Phoenix 200 embraces this with its uniquely coloured negatives and occasional coating anomalies. Embrace the unpredictability and enjoy the creative experience!
