So it’s quite exciting to learn that the university has announced that they are going to make their photography classes available for free for all online.

The modules comprise mainly of digital photography basics, like the importance of light, retouching software, how to find your way around a digital camera,  histograms, colour, exhibition techniques and a brief history of photography.

There’s no need to sign up to the platform or even to pay enrollment fees. It’s entirely free.

The courses have been uploaded to Harvard’s online platform Alison.

Altogether, you’ll find twelve modules making up the course, with a 13th final evaluation that you’ll need to complete to finish the course.
