Huawei Reinvents Its MateBook with the HUAWEI MateBook 14s
The new Huawei MateBook 14s is a surprisingly powerful laptop that combines a super-slim body, 2.5K touch FullView Display and a host of new smart features. Read on for more.
Huawei’s latest addition to the MateBook range has been designed with ‘smart productivity’ in mind and has a 2.5K touch FullView Display with an aspect ratio of 3:2, and the new 11th Gen Intel® Core™ Processor and, importantly, Intel® Iris® Xᵉ integrated graphics. Its sound quality has been greatly improved thanks to the HUAWEI SOUND® support and quad speakers, which features both tweeters and woofers.
Each edge of the new laptop is honed to form a fine angle, making the device look quite sleek. It has a metallic finish and weighs approx. 1.43kg, but most importantly, it supports100% sRGB wide colour gamut with the display potentially rendering 1.07 billion colours. It has a 10-point multi-touch support, which will allow you to be more efficient when multi-tasking. Performance Mode
The HUAWEI MateBook 14s packs a punch with a new performance mode, which is activated by holding the Fn+P shortcut and boosts the CPU TDP to 45W. With support for 1TB NVMe PCle SSD, the HUAWEI MateBook 14s allows you to maintain your productivity with simple multi-tasking.
Battery
The HUAWEI MateBook 14s seems to have a decent battery, which should reassure those on the move. With a 60Wh high-capacity battery and a compact 90W power adapter, the new device can run for up to 3 hours on just a 15-minute power up. The adapter also supports HUAWEI SuperCharge that will be compatible with a range of Huawei smartphones and tablets.

The HUAWEI MateBook 14s will be available in the UK from 27th October 2021, with pre-orders running on the Huawei Store between 5th October – 26th October 2021. Customers who pre-order can claim one of the following packages for free:
