CineStill 800T 120 Film: Tungsten ISO 800

Original price was: £18.99.Current price is: £16.25.

This 120 film has natural high light sensitivity and is perfectly balanced for producing true colours and skin tones when exposed using artificial light. It’s the perfect partner for party animals and those who just love to shoot at night and want to take a genuine view of their medium-format night-time world. Shooting in daylight will produce a blue tint, which can be simply fixed with using a soft warming filter.

Description

This 2nd. Generation CineStill 800Tungsten film is a unique stock for photographers, with 800-speed tungsten-balanced colour negative film is prepared from the same gold standard motion picture technology used by top cinematographers around the world. This film is designed for difficult low light tungsten situations and may be used in many different lighting situations to achieve a variety of looks.

CineStill’s new and improved manufacturing process now extends the shelf life, with less noticeable artefacts after expiration. Cinestill 800T has been developed from Kodak Vision 3 500T 5219 motion picture film that was designed for ECN-2 motion picture processing as a positive film. The ‘Premoval’ process by CineStill has been designed to remove the ‘Rem-Jet’ Layer so that it can be processed on standard C-41 minilabs machines safely.
This emulsion is optimised for a hybrid workflow, ideal for scanning, and produces a complementary contrast curve for optical printing on RA-4 paper when processed in C-41 chemistry. Treat this film as a high speed 800 ISO film for C-41 processing and push process whenever needed up to 3200 ISO.

Recommended ISO and acceptable exposure for push processing:

ISO 800: No push – EI 200-1600
ISO 1250: 1 stop push – EI 800-2000
ISO 1600: 2 stop push – EI 1250-3200
ISO 3200: 3 stop push – EI 1600-3200 [added contrast]
